His condition remains critical, leaving colleagues, loved ones, and residents holding onto hope during an incredibly difficult time.
According to officials, Schnaible collapsed while actively working, prompting an immediate and urgent response from fellow firefighters. Without hesitation, his team began performing CPR at the scene, working tirelessly until they were able to restore his pulse. Though their quick actions were lifesaving, the situation remained severe.
During the collapse, Schnaible fell and struck the pavement, sustaining significant head injuries. The impact caused multiple brain bleeds, greatly complicating his condition and turning an already serious heart attack into a life-threatening medical crisis. He was quickly transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he continues to receive intensive care.
